Playtech Takeover of Snaitech

Playtech are one step closer to fully owning Snaitech Spa (Snaitech). In April this year they acquired a massive 70.6% stake, and purchased an additional 10.3% stake in May so they now own an 80.9% stake.

The Italian regulator Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (ADM) have approved this takeover and expect Playtech to finalise a mandatory takeover of all the remaining Snaitech Spa shares. Playtech have made their offer for the remaining shares and hope that the takeover will be finalized later this year.
